Sonrisa is a much loved 1990 Catalina 30 MkII. "Sonrisa" means smile in Spanish. She is the standard rig with fin keel. She is sturdy, easy to sail and handles comfortably & predictably. She is in excellent condition. This IS the C30 MkII that YOU want. Sail number 5757 comes from a long line of Catalina 30's and includes all of the many improvements made to the boat with the MkII series. Sonrisa is a Pacific Northwest boat and, as such, has little sun exposure damage compared to boats in other locations. Sonrisa is powered by a
dependable and well maintained Universal 
M25XP 3 cylinder diesel auxiliary motor that consumes approx. 0.5 gal/hr.
With her near 11' beam and 6'-2" headroom,the Catalina 30 is considered the largest, most comfortable thirty-footer.

Accommodations:

The interior is light, open and extremely comfortable. Forward
is the owners cabin with V-berth  w/ under berth storage. Moving aft is a hanging locker and an enclosed head with shower. The salon is open with a "L" shaped dinette and folding table. Further aft to port, is an open "U" shaped galley with top access ice-box, double sink and an Origo 6000 alcohol fueled 2- burner stove and oven. To starboard is a fully functional nav station with chart storage, electrical panel,
VHF radio and stereo. The aft berth to port features a double bed. Sonrisa has all necessary accommodations for incredible
family getaways.
